Dawson Racquet Club – Powered by Buddy the Ball

Lower School Pickleball introduces young athletes to one of the fastest-growing sports in the country through fun, fast-paced, and age-appropriate play. Using Buddy the Ball’s imaginative teaching style and Dawson’s whole-child philosophy, students learn essential pickleball skills—including paddle control, footwork, volleys, rallying, and teamwork—through exciting games that keep them moving and confident. This class forms the foundation of our Pickleball Pathway, preparing students for future progression into Middle School Pickleball. Players learn how to communicate with partners, problem-solve on court, and “bounce back” from challenges—values that reflect both the Buddy the Ball curriculum and Dawson’s strong emphasis on resilience and character.

All equipment is provided, and athletes of all ability levels are welcomed and encouraged!
