Explore the World Through Art, Culture, and Crafting!

Travel the globe without ever leaving the classroom! In Global Craft Club, students will embark on a creative journey to discover diverse world cultures, traditions, and artistic techniques. Each quarter features unique, hands-on crafting projects inspired by global heritage and art styles.

Quarterly Offerings & Curriculum
Quarter 1: Spanish-Speaking Cultures, Countries, & Stories

Projects: Weaving, felting, batik, and yarn crafts.

Focus: Learn traditional fabric and fiber art techniques from across the world.

Quarter 2: European Cultures, Countries, & Stories

Projects: Alebrijes, Ukrainian Pysanky, Kokeshi dolls, and papel picado.

Focus: Bring legendary stories, folklore, and cultural icons to life through vibrant crafts.

Quarter 3: Asian Cultures, Countries, & Stories

Projects: Paper bead jewelry, tin-can lanterns, sari silk bowls, and cardboard mosaics.

Focus: Learn sustainable crafting practices while repurposing materials into beautiful works of art.

Quarter 4: African Cultures, Countries, & Stories

Projects: Masquerade masks, Rangoli art, lanterns, and ceremonial fans.

Focus: Explore how different cultures around the world celebrate traditions, festivals, and milestones.
