Intro to Mandarin - Grades 2 - 4

Join us for a fun, interactive Mandarin adventure! In Intro to Mandarin Club, students will learn the basics of Mandarin through Comprehensible Input, engaging stories, songs, and hands-on activities that make language learning meaningful and memorable.

Our curriculum is built around the ACTFL 5 C’s:

• Communication: Learn to understand, speak, read, and write in Mandarin for real-life situations.

• Cultures: Explore the customs, traditions, festivals, and daily life of Mandarin-speaking countries.

• Connections: Connect Mandarinto other subjects, daily life, and the world.

• Comparisons: Compare languages and cultures to better understand our own and others.

• Communities: Use Mandarinbeyond the classroom to become part of a global community.
