Make Your Own Pottery - Early Childhood

In this BASE session, you will explore the world of pottery by sculpting your own creations. You use different techniques and go home with pieces you can share with friends and family. You will get the chance to experiment with clay, be creative, and have a unique piece made by YOU. 

Throughout the program, students will learn how to manipulate the clay using essential techniques (coiling, pinching, and slabbing), to work safely with clay, to make functional and aesthetic design choices, to solve problems that arise during the process, and to express themselves in the medium of clay.
