Students will learn about the basic needs of plants and the different
parts of plants and their functions
They will learn the plant life cycle which consists of four stages; seed, sprout, small plant, and adult plant.
Kids will learn how photosynthesis works
We will plant seeds in the soil with water and sun or a grow light, then they will start to grow into a small sprout.
When the sprout begins to grow roots that go deep into the ground and a stem that stretches through the soil, then the plant will start to grow leaves towards the sun/light
Kids will take home their plants at the end of the week to continue growing at home or plant them in the garden with their name so they could always know they planted them.
The sun helps the plant to produce food which it will need when it becomes a small plant. When the plant becomes an adult, they will either see it bloom into beautiful flowers, fruits, or vegetables.
